Although I have a separate space I rent dedicated to making music, affectionately known as “the Bunker”, it remains an untreated studio apartment at heart and while having better acoustics than most wood, brick and mortar shoe box “mansions” in Japan it has some bass issues and during the day there is a lot of noise from traffic and advertising trucks outside because I am located on the back end of Harajuku, a busy shopping/fashion district in Tokyo.
In such a situation speaker placement is critical and it took me ages to find a speaker position I was comfortable mixing with and I feel it still needs some tweaks hear and there (pun intended).

Guess I am going to take down all the egg cartons and blankets I have strung up around the room. :(
