Dirty Works got off to a smashing start with the first of many Label nights at Rockwest in Shibuya. Bob Rogue, ever weird and wonderful set the tone for a groovy night and then Tokyo newcomer Rythymdroid tore up the floor with a genuine live set throbbing out of enough hardware gear to make the table sag and interfere with fundamental time flow, after him I branded the ears of those brave enough to wander into a slightly harder than usual set and I must admit it felt good to get some tougher stuff onto the floor! Rennie Foster it seems is always spinning a better set than he did the last time I saw him play and I tip my hat to his dedication, patience and passion.
Rock on.
