I designed and arranged the sound for this short film by award winning film maker Igor Simic. This is the trailer.
Project:Â Cost-Benefit-Love (English and Serbian)
Role: Sound Design, Foley, Recording and Production.
Synopsis:Â A stream of consciousness narration by two lovers who contemplate their life”s wishes and fears whilst kissing in a pose evoking Rodin’s The Kiss.
Music:Â Room tone blurs into a continuos and gradually ominous note and escalates to a surprising crescendo. I created this piece in close consultation with Igor. I recorded a single Low C note on a cello, that most romantic of instruments, and stretched it into a monotonous tone lasting over 9 minutes. I wanted to sonically underscore the growing neurosis in the stream of consciousness narration and have it morph and grow in complexity along with the spoken content.
