Our Guest for this episode is DJ and producer Randy Mihajlovic, he has been making tracks since he was fourteen years old and got into techno via mixtapes in the nineties. He now works with fellow Belgrade producers Pedrag Janus and previous Sounds of Belgrade Guest Dr Adji.

Biography

“My music is pretty organic and minimal – its pushing you to react.”

Dusan a.k.a Randy Mihajlovic was born on May 13th 1990. In Belgrade-Yugoslavia.
His first interest towards the electronic sound was at 12 years, buying tapes, discs and vinyl.
His first steps into the world of music production were at fourteen years, working then with local partners.
In production Randy likes to experiment, because he believes that every experiment is an introduction to a new beginning.

“My influences are Rino Cerrone, Marco Carolla, Stenny Frenson and many more. Percussion fascinates me so I like the tribal sound they have.”

In 2011 he started working with Dragisa Pujevic (aka Dr. Adji), and Predrag Janus, with whom he continues cooperation to this day.

“Every synth I play, every rhythm, must be connected, they work together.”

In March 2012, they create the organization “Stereo Grammar”, working with young and experienced Artists in the Balkans such as Lea Dobricic, Kristina Lalic, Lilonee, Sharky, Vid Marjanovic, Simon Roge, Luka Vukovic, Ivan Radojevic, Mancha, 
Miroslav Krstic and many others.
