Eli Pariser shows the detriments of what he calls the “filter bubble” – behind the scenes algorithmic editing of the web by companies like Google and Facebook that slowly filter out what we DON’T click on in favour of what we do click on – and addresses the consequences of allowing this to continue unabated.
