A few weeks back, I headed out to Shibuya to meet Gabriel Ananda and his girlfriend Alice Rose to have dinner and play a few games of darts.
I scheduled to meet them after Gabriel finished doing an interview at a hotel near the station but when I was waiting at Hachiko (a popular meeting spot in Shibuya near the infamously busy crosswalk) only Alice came out to meet me. I figured the interview was running late but she excitedly told me that the gentleman doing Gabriel’s interview was really keen to get an interview from me too.
So I ended up meeting Hermeet Chadha from Diesel:U:Music Radio and we chatted about life in Tokyo, how I ended up here and about my current music projects.
A live mix I sent them will stream 09:00am GMT on DUMR

Thanks to everyone asking after a link to the web trends soundtrack download.
I recently realised that when the iA went live with their new page my links no longer go to the promo video and download page for the soundtrack, we are working on it.
In the mean time you can listen to the full track track and the video edit too.

DJ Wada of the mighty Co-Fusion and one of my all time favourite techno DJs approached me a few months back to collaborate on a track for his new album on Sublime Records. I just got an e-mail from him and the album is scheduled for release end of October. Wada is a techno legend in Japan and a true master of the mix. I first heard him DJing at the legendary Techno Club Maniac Love 9 years ago and have never hesitated to go and dance to one of his sets. I am so happy to be involved with his new project and I learned so much working with him in the studio.

Showing his versatility as a true creator, Shane presents a tech-house masterpiece with progressive over-tones destined for big club play and big name support. A beautiful bell melody drives the straight ahead house groove until a growling monster of a bassline creeps up from out of the abyss and leads the crowd into deeper, darker territory that is truly not of this world. This is the kind of music that crosses several genre lines with its stylized production equally at home in the boxes of both minimal, progressive, tech-house and straight ahead techno jocks. No borders dance music, welcome to Dirty Works.

Phew, it has taken a while but the site is coming together slowly but surely. There are still some tweaks to make here and there but 90 percent of the content is up and there are plenty more to come.
